Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's first paperless budget speech for the fiscal year 2021-22 commenced  on Lok Sabha today at New Delhi.
The challenge and expectation was :
1. Provide relief of common people effected by the Corona Pandemic
2. Focus on growth recovery after pandemic

Some of the important announcement is noticed that, 

1.5 Lac deduction on payment of interest for affordable housing loan extended for one year till 2022 March. 

Big relief of senior citizens above age of 75yrs, no IT returns for them.

Proposed farm Cess on Petrol 2.5/- per liter and on Diesel 4/- per liter will be imposed and fuels are set to get expensive as well as common people's bothering also.

Allocation to rural infrastructure development rise to 40000 crore for the fiscal year 2021, from 30000 crores for the fiscal year 2020.
 
Finance Minister added new allocation for "Kisan Samman Nidhi yojna" and said that the Budget this year is aimed to double the income of  the Kisan under the government income schemes for farmers.

For the electronic sector will be integrated 1000 new Mandis with the Electronic National Market to revive the Covid hit Indian Economy, the Finance Minister announced.

No changes of income tax deduction left the common man disappointing to the much awaited Union Budget of 2021.
